Hear Wye Oak and William Brittelle's music as never before in this two-part concert programmed exclusively for Symphony Space. Favorites from Wye Oak's album Shriek are performed by Wye Oak and Metropolis Ensemble (led by artistic director Andrew Cyr and guest conductor Michael Repper) with new arrangements by Brittelle, followed by the world premiere of Brittelle's song cycle Spiritual America, an epic post-genre mix of orchestra, children's chorus, electronics, and rock band featuring Brooklyn Youth Chorus, Metropolis Ensemble, and Ben Cassorla (guitar).
