Artists Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.

Join the JCC for our annual presentation of powerful work by artists whose vision coincides with King's voice for justice, peace and civil rights. The event features a lineup of visionary performers, including Grammy-award winning, world music superstars, the Klezmatics, innovative composer/violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain, who melds his classical music roots with his own cultural references, and hip-hop artist Lemon Andersen, a regular on HBO's Def Poetry. The evening will be emceed by Celeste Headlee, co-host of The Takeway on WNYC, with a keynote address by John Ruskay, Executive Vice President & CEO of UJA-Federation of New York.
