Storyboards

One of the key steps in film-making is creating a storyboard: breaking the episodes down into a series of drawings that communicates the action or theme of each of the scenes. Borrowing that idea from the world of film and using a story of their choice, or one that they’re working on in class, students will demonstrate their ability to identify the key moments of the story, the important ideas, and the main characters, and the structure.
