Native American art is prized around the world for its beauty, power, and imagery. The teaching artist helps students engage deeply with Native American art and artifacts through visual aids, fact-based questioning, discussion, and creation. An art project can be included in a two-workshop series. Schools can also opt to take an artist-guided tour of a New York City museum, giving students a chance to engage with Native American art and artifacts first-hand.
