New York Chamber Music Festival proudly presents a concert tribute to Joan Tower on her birthday, September 6. Lauded by the New Yorker as "one of the most successful women composers of all time", her bold and energetic compositions have been performed in concert halls around the world. This program features performances by superstar flutist Carol Wincenc, internationally renowned violist Dov Scheindlin, famed pianist Blair McMillen, young guitar virtuoso Colin Davin, rising star violinist Emma Steele, fabulous pianist Hsin-Chiao Liao the much acclaimed Escher String Quartet and the world renowned Da Capo Chamber Players, in the presence of Joan Tower herself!
