Jomama Jones: Endless Summer Live
Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Symphony Space |
![]() ![]() |
Jomama Jones ignites the Summer of 2011 with a dynamic evening of song featuring material from her recent albums, Lone Star and Radiate. The legendary expatriate chanteuse sings original songs of transformation, resilience and love, backed by her band, and her backing vocalists, The Sweet Peaches, led by musical director Bobby Halvorson. True to Jomama's playful nature, there will likely be a surprise or two in store for all.
Jones's appearance at Symphony Space follows her triumphant comeback at Soho Rep from January of this year. The series of performances were sold-out smashes, winning audience and critical acclaim:
“Sultry Amazon” -The New York Times
“Wonderfully Unique” NY1
“Jomama is a woman with a mission” -The Feminist Spectator.
So come out and celebrate the longest days of the year with an ecstatic evening of music in the presence of a woman whom Backstage calls “A true theatrical original."
