You Good? Making NYC Green And Affordable

When it comes to policy, New York is a climate leader. But living here is freaking expensive. So what does it take to live affordably in NYC and be climate-conscious? How can a home battery help with electric bills? How do you pay rent AND invest in an induction stove? What about heat protections for those who work outdoors? And even if you can swing an EV car, where the heck are you supposed to charge it?

Join Climate One Co-Host Kousha Navidar, in collaboration with Grist, for an engaging, interactive talk show discussing how climate, decarbonization and affordability come together in NYC. We’ll hear from a city official, a grassroots leader, a small business owner, and a Grist reporter about their work to make life better for residents while keeping costs and carbon emissions down.
