Description
Independent documentarian Ralph L. Crowder III examines northern family & community life circa 1945 - 1955.
This artistic spotlight is presented through rare 8 mm silent film footage that captures an interesting visual irony in the same neighborhood as George Floyd's death generations later. One question uplifted by this timely look into history could be, was the Negro's environment more progressive than the present?
The silent film will be accompanied by a live jazz trio with a post-screening audience Q&A including Crowder and a panel of special guests
