The 3rd Annual Danny Awards

Description

Masks are encouraged and appreciated, but not mandatory for this event.

The Danny Awards is a global award show that showcases the musical talents of individuals with disabilities and celebrates differences. This event is the culmination of the hard work and perseverance of talented musicians who submitted performance videos for consideration from across the country and around the globe. The 3rd Annual Danny Awards will include performances of the top eleven Award Recipients, as well as Daniel Trush (The Danny Awards namesake) and Gerry Powers.

About The Danny Awards:

In 2006, Daniel’s Music Foundation was founded by the Trush family to empower individuals with disabilities through music. One keyboard class with five members has evolved into serving thousands of individuals - both locally in NYC at their 8,700 square-foot music center, as well as nationally through the DMF Virtual Community.

Since inception, they have witnessed the wonderful talents of musicians and have provided them with performance opportunities to share their gifts with others. But they wanted to do more - something that would have an impact globally.

In 2020, they created an award show that recognizes and showcases the musical talents of individuals with disabilities of all ages - The Danny Awards. This event has grown every year, and the talent is extraordinary. To learn more visit: https://www.danielsmusic.org/thedannys2022
