Description
Six String Symphony is a contemporary classical crossover concert that brings together four guitarists, piano, cello, Violin, bass, and drums in a dynamic exploration of sound across classical, flamenco, rock, jazz, and Latin influences.
The program features original music from the ensemble’s debut album, A Six String Odyssey, recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra and at Skywalker Sound. The performance combines the expressive range of multiple guitar styles with cinematic orchestral textures, virtuosic piano and cello, and a contemporary rhythm section.
The concert is designed as an engaging live music experience, moving between intimate instrumental moments and powerful full-ensemble works. The production is primarily acoustic and amplified instrumental performance, with backing/orchestral tracks incorporated into selected pieces.
