PROJECT BROADWAY: Broadway's Leading Ladies: A Love Letter to Judy

Description

Judy Garland made an indelible mark on American culture as an actress and a singer with iconic interpretations of such songs as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “The Trolley Song,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” and “The Man That Got Away.” This spring, 50 years after her untimely passing, some of Broadway’s fiercest females join together in this one-night only concert to pay tribute to Garland’s artistry – to celebrate her life and the music that made her a star. Performers include Kate Baldwin, Carolee Carmello, Sarah Stewart Chapin, Aisha De Haas, Jill Paice, Kate Shindle, Emma Stratton, Julia Murney, and Rema Webb, with music direction by Fred Lassen.
