Travel back in time for an exhilarating multi-stage immersive jazz age experience inspired by Storyville, New Orleans, the famed red-light district where early jazz flourished until it was shut down in 1917. The evening will include hot jazz by Aurora Nealand and The Royal Roses, Jon-Erik Kellso’s Mahogany Hall Pleasure Society Jazz Band featuring vocalist Mara Kaye, Dennis Lichtman’s Hottet featuring blues stylist Queen Esther, blues singer Blind Boy Paxton, and ragtime and stride pianist Dalton RidenhourDancers and performance artists will include tap dancer DeWitt Fleming Jr., Gaby Galore & Her Sugar Shakers, burlesque queen Delysia La Chatte, Phonograph DJ MAC, and Lillian Lorraine & Her Lovely Ladies. Hosted by Juliette Campbell, founder of Shanghai Mermaid, in celebration of the time-traveling cabaret’s 10th anniversary.

Patrons are free to move throughout the downstairs level of Symphony Space during the event. Seating is not guaranteed at each performance location.
