Gianmarco's talent is evident throughout his work, in songs that captivate the audience and make it vibrate. This man is a musician full of ideas - emotional, innovative, and constantly refreshing, setting strong trends that inspire scores of followers. After releasing over 10 albums, Gianmarco has in recent years put his talents to use in other areas. He published his first book, titled The Wood of the Soul, in the mid-'00s, and he was also named UNICEF's Goodwill Ambassador to Peru in 2006. In his role as ambassador, he organized the large benefit concert Song of the South, which benefitted the victims of the earthquake that struck southern Peru in mid-2007. The event brought together more than 40,000 people in a show that featured appearances by international artists Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Fernandez, Fonseca, and Reyli and Erica Ender, as well as Peruvian talents like Christian Meier, Pedro the Lion, Eva Ayllon, and Marcelo Mota.
Gianmarco's latest releases include En tiempo real DVD (2010) and Dias Nuevos (2011). The DVD release features Gianmarco performing repertoire designed especially for the audio-visual format - the Latin Grammy winner performs in real time, without breaks or effects. Dias Nuevos, winner of a 2011 Latin Grammy award, sold Triple Platinum in Peru, overcoming even the singer's most optimistic sales projections.
