SHAKESPEARE UNBOUND

Students explore scenes from Shakespeare’s plays. They develop an understanding of the poetry and performance techniques through active reading and analyzing text. Comprehension and engagement increase as teaching artists coach students in characterization, articulation, diction and public speaking.

Khris Lewin

Khris Lewin

Khris Lewin is an actor and teaching artist who has performed at some of the country’s most respected regional theatres, including Marin Theatre Company, Goodspeed Opera House, Ogunquit Playhouse, Vineyard Playhouse, Nebraska Shakespeare, among others. Mr. Lewin holds a B.A. in Drama from Duke University and an M.F.A in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver, CO. He is an SAFD certified and recommend actor-combatant.

Laurine Towler

Laurine Towler

Laurine Towler is an actress and teaching artist who made her Broadway debut in Lettice and Loveage, starring Dame Maggie Smith. In addition to working on the New York and regional stages, Ms. Towler has appeared in several television shows including Law and Order: SVU, Louie, The Sopranos, St. Elsewhere, All My Children, and Daria. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, and her M.F.A in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego.

Paul Pryce

Paul Pryce

Paul Pryce is a Trinidadian born actor and writer currently based in New York City. His television credits include roles on the Netflix original series Marvel’s Jessica Jones and A&E’s Unforgettable. He performed alongside Paul Giamatti in Yale Repertory Theatre’s production of Hamlet. He received his MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama and is an alumnus of H.B. Studio in New York City. He has taught at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, MIT Music & Theatre department, Amherst College and is on the acting faculty at the New York Film Academy and H.B. Studio.
