The author discusses her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel-in-stories, which crisscrosses through the life of a retired schoolteacher in rural Maine, with novelist Daniel Menaker and the audience.  An excerpt will be performed by Rochelle Oliver.  A book signing will follow. While you enjoy the event, have a glass of wine and a light evening meal in the intimate cabaret atmosphere of the Leonard Nimoy Thalia.
