This two-part evening starts at 6 pm at The Met as you explore the classic black and white street photography of Robert Frank. Then head across the park to Symphony Space, where, at 8 pm, you'll hear performances of stories by Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Aleksandar Hemon and others that resonate with the images, and get an entirely new perspective on both the visual and written works. Performers include Boyd Gaines (Gypsy), Ted Marcoux, and Condola Rashad (Lynn Nottage's Ruined).
There will be a will-call table at the entrance of the Museum, with a list of ticket buyers. To gain admittance, show your ticket or ask to have your name checked on the list, if you have not received your ticket yet. (You can then pick up your tickets at the Symphony Space Box Office once you get to the theatre.)
If you do not have a ticket to the event, you can purchase one online at the will-call table at the Museum.
