Upper West Fest Kickoff
Join us as we kick off the Third Annual Upper West Fest at the Broadway
Street Fair. Visit the partners at their tables 95th St and Broadway
and enjoy live music and dance on stage at 96th Street and Broadway
from noon to 2 PM. Arturo O’Farrill of the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra hosts their year’s entertainment as well as performs. He’s joined by the Ballet Hispanico School Ensemble, TetraWind, a woodwind quartet comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon, Thalia Follies favorites The Chalks, and Darrah Carr Dance
with their unique blend of traditional Irish step and contemporary
modern dance. Be sure to enter the raffle to win an Upper West Fest
gift basket, filled with merchandise from Zabars and the Upper West
Fest partners.
