Crossing Borders
Crossing Boundaries invites the audience to travel through an eclectic musical journey. Bridging the sound worlds of virtuoso classical performance, electronic textures, world music, and multimedia, a diverse group of composers join forces to create an exciting and challenging blend. Composers Tom Beyer, Chris Calabrese, Carlos Delgado, Dinu Ghezzo, Eric Klein and friends share a common background in classical composition and offer a broad spectrum of experiences and expertise in audio production, interactive instrument design, synthesis, jazz performance, and film scoring. Individually and as a group, their music has received critical acclaim throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America. Their work can be found on recognized labels such as Capstone Records, CRI (New World Records), Living Artist, and Sonoton ProViva. Under the leadership of internationally renowned composer and distinguished NYU professor Dinu Ghezzo, International Composers and Interactive Artists (ICIA) is committed to promoting new music and collaborative work across the arts.
