Happy 90th Anniversary to the Thalia!

Before there was Symphony Space, there was the Thalia on 95th Street, named after the muse of comedy and idyllic poetry. It was widely considered one of the most important arthouse cinemas in New York City, whose double-billed film festivals no cinephile could pass up.

Over the years, the Leonard Nimoy Thalia has been home to insightful films, incredible music, captivating stories, hilarious comedy, family fun, and meaningful conversations.

After 19 months dark, it is a great joy to reopen the Leonard Nimoy Thalia for our 21/22 Season. We can’t wait to see you here!
