Questlove
Questlove is a six-time Grammy Award–winning musician, Academy Award–winning and Emmy-nominated filmmaker, drummer, DJ, producer, director, culinary entrepreneur, New York Times bestselling author, cofounder of the Roots, and the musical director for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the Roots serves as the house band. He is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Mo’ Meta Blues, Creative Quest, Music Is History, Hip-Hop Is History, and his first children’s book series, The Rhythm of Time, as well as the James Beard Award–nominated somethingtofoodabout, Mixtape Potluck, and the Grammy-nominated audiobooks Creative Quest and Music Is History. Questlove made his directorial debut with the Academy Award–, Grammy Award–, and BAFTA Award–winning documentary film Summer of Soul, which broke the record for the highest-selling documentary to come out of the Sundance Film Festival. 2025 has seen Questlove direct a multitude of projects including the Emmy-nominated Sly Lives! (aka the Burden of Black Genius), the critically acclaimed original documentary about legendary musician Sly Stone, which premiered on Hulu, and the Emmy-nominated Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music, which premiered ahead of SNL’s 50th extravaganza. Questlove is a co-founder of Two One Five Entertainment. He is the publisher of AUWA Books, an imprint of MCD / Farrar, Straus and Giroux. Questlove has also served in musical directing positions for everyone from D'Angelo to Jay-Z to the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony.

Mark Ronson is a nine-time Grammy winner (with five additional nominations). He’s won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, two BRIT Awards (with five additional nominations), and has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy. He performed at Super Bowl 50 in 2016 with Coldplay, Beyoncé, and Bruno Mars, and has been a musical guest on Saturday Night Live three times since 2014, with Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Miley Cyrus. In addition to his own albums, and writing and producing work with other artists, Mark has contributed to the soundtracks of HBO’s Euphoria, the 2016 Ghostbusters, the 2018 A Star Is Born, Suicide Squad, Disney’s 2016 live-action Jungle Book, and the Barbie movie directed by Greta Gerwig. Night People will be published on September 16th.
