Josh Horowitz and Julia Louis-Dreyfus
A CONVERSATION WITH THE AUDIENCE
Julia Louis-Dreyfus' comedic versatility and tremendous skill has made her one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors and producers, expertly shaping a career full of memorable roles. Louis-Dreyfus starred in and served as executive producer for HBO’s hit series Veep, which ran for seven seasons. She earned worldwide acclaim for portraying Elaine Benes in Seinfeld and as Christine Campbell in The New Adventures of Old Christine. Louis-Dreyfus has received eleven Emmys with twenty-six nominations and broke records for the most Emmys won by a single performer and the most consecutive wins for a single role through her performance in Veep. Recognized for her groundbreaking impact, Louis-Dreyfus received the 2021 National Medal of Arts from the White House for her trailblazing influence on women in comedy and American culture. On the digital side, Louis-Dreyfus' podcast, Wiser Than Me, was named podcast of the year by Apple. The second season is currently airing with guests including Ina Garten, Billie Jean King, and Sally Fields. In film, Louis-Dreyfus re-teamed with Nicole Holofcener for A24’s You Hurt My Feelings. Upcoming, she will be seen in A24’s mother-daughter fairytale Tuesday, which hits theaters June 2024, and she will make her return as Valentina in the upcoming Marvel film, Thunderbolts.
