Young Dancemakers Company

Young Dancemakers Company, a unique, tuition-free summer dance ensemble of NYC teens, presents a free concert of their own choreography, based on meaningful personal and social themes. The performance, with both live percussion by William Catanzaro, and taped music by ten commissioned NYC professional composers, is followed by a free audience interactive workshop, led by the company, plus a post-concert Q&A. The teen dancers will also perform an excerpt from this seasons Guest Repertory Company, Ronald K. Brown/EVIDENCE, A Dance Company. The concert is suitable for children ages 8 and up, and adults.
