Description
Young Dancemakers Company, a unique performing ensemble of NYC teens, Directed by Alice Teirstein and Co-Directed by Jessica Gaynor, presents a free one-hour concert of their new, lively, original choreography, based on meaningful personal and social themes.
The concert, with both live percussion by Music Director William Catanzaro, and taped music by ten commissioned NYC professional composers, is followed by a Q&A with the dancers, and a free audience interactive workshop in on-the-spot dance-making, led by the company.
PLUS an excerpt from the repertory of renowned choreographer John Heginbotham.
