The Roger Rees Awards

The Broadway Education Alliance and Disney Theatrical Group are proud to present the 16th Annual Roger Rees Awards Showcase celebrating excellence in student performance!

The Roger Rees Awards serves as Greater New York City’s high school musical theater awards program, shining a spotlight on the next generation of theater creators.

Come cheer on students and educators being honored for their dedication to the arts while enjoying ensemble musical numbers featuring the nominees for the Outstanding Performer Award accompanied by New York City Center’s Youth Orchestra. Students across various categories will be recognized for their commitment to the arts both on and off the stage.

The evening will culminate with the announcement of the Outstanding Performer Award winners selected by a distinguished panel of Broadway industry judges. These two students will represent The Roger Rees Awards at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (the Jimmy Awards®).
