Tap Dance Central in Concert

Come celebrate tap dance and the work of Tap Dance Central to keep the rhythms happening in NYC! "Tap Dance Central in Concert” presents TDC education programs in performance featuring dancers ages 5-80! Directed by Susan Hebach, students of all levels, Teen TDC Ensembles & faculty take the stage to celebrate their love of tap dance and share what they've accomplished this year.

This performance includes a live Jazz Quartet, featuring Jess Jurkovic on Piano, Tim Ferguson on Bass, Rob Garcia on Drums, Hina Oikawa on Winds and guest vocalists.

Choreography includes classic and original contemporary work from tap luminaries & TDC faculty including Alice Baum, Emma Butensky, Brian Davis, Susan Hebach, Maria Clara Laet, Lisa LaTouche, Kaleena Miller, Jessee Leigh Robinson, Tanya Madison and Lynn Schwab. Guest performers include Tap: On Tap, an All Abilities Tap Ensemble, directed by Mary Six Rupert.
