Description
Nisan Ak, music director
The Turkish American Orchestra invites you to the opening concert of its second season. Quickly establishing itself as a cultural ambassador of Türkiye in the United States, the orchestra continues its tradition of bringing western classical, Turkish classical, and beloved popular songs into one shared space.
Displacement is never only a physical journey. It is cultures carried forward, memories reshaped, and voices finding new space. Tonight’s program honors those paths while celebrating the soundscape of a global Turkish diaspora.
