Description
Step into a powerful reimagining of Harlem’s legacy with Once Upon A Time in Harlem: SURVIVOR, the Season 7 Annual Dance Recital from the family-owned, Black-led GO HARD DANCE. Rooted in community, culture, and unshakeable determination, this year’s production honors the spirit of survival that has defined both Harlem’s history and the journey of our school.
Through an electrifying blend of Hip Hop, Tap, African, Ballet, and Contemporary/Modern dance, our young artists bring stories of strength, unity, and creativity to life on stage. Each piece is a celebration of the resilience that kept our doors open through challenge after challenge — a tribute to our dedicated students, tireless staff, and the unwavering support of our GO HARD families.
SURVIVOR is more than a recital. It is a movement.
It is a heartbeat.
It is a reminder that no matter the obstacles, we rise — together.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of artistry and empowerment as GO HARD DANCE transforms Symphony Space into a vibrant testament of Harlem’s past and present, and a bold declaration of its future.
