Revisit the 1984 Academy Award and Emmy Award-Winning documentary, He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin’, (courtesy of the estate of Executive Producer Edgar Scherick) and Celebrate 50 years of National Dance Institute (NDI). Watch the acclaimed director Emile Ardolino (Dir. Dirty Dancing) follow NDI’s founder, NYC Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise as he leads his 1000 dancing children towards their performance at Madison Square Garden’s Felt Forum. After the film, hear first hand accounts from those involved in the making of this decorated work and the NDI show at its center, in conversation led by beloved New York storyteller, Budd Mishkin.
