My Rise to the Middle

MY RISE TO THE MIDDLE is the follow up to the hit off-Broadway show MY SON THE WAITER, A JEWISH TRAGEDY. It is a retelling of Brad Zimmerman's lengthy struggle to make it as an actor in New York. Brad delves even deeper into all of the obstacles that he had to overcome in order to realize his dream of making his living in show business. The stories he tells about his childhood, his education, his misbegotten love life, his extremely long tenure as a waiter, and of course his mother are told in a very heartfelt, funny and extremely poignant way. It is very easy to identify with Brad. It is the universal struggle and it illuminates the sweet rewards that can come from never giving up.
