Description
Musical Madlibs – Where Music Meets Imagination
Get ready for a one-of-a-kind interactive performance! Musical Madlibs is an interdisciplinary partnership production between Creative Stage Collective and Concert Artists Guild, blending live classical music, improvisational storytelling, and audience participation into a magical, playful experience for all ages.
Stunning performances by Ariel Horowitz (Concert Artists Guild Competition winner whose work has been heard at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center), Mitch Lyon (cellist and Teaching Artist Faculty member with the New York Philharmonic), and Carter Johnson (international prizewinning pianist and finalist in the 2025 Van Cliburn International Competition) ignite spontaneous, playful storytelling that unfolds in real time.
Cate Smit — an accomplished actor with credits spanning Off-Broadway, television and feature films — narrates the emerging story as performers from Creative Stage Collective's multigenerational troupe bring it to life.
At its heart, Musical Madlibs is a celebration of children’s imaginative ideas and creative collaboration. Audiences aged 5 and up are invited to participate, imagine, and co-create—experiencing the thrill of storytelling and music coming together in unexpected and delightful ways.
Don’t just attend — play, imagine, and make music with us!
