Before Broadway & Beyond Benefit Concert

Join us for the second annual Before Broadway & Beyond Benefit Concert featuring musical performances by alumni of Greater New York’s Roger Rees Awards. This talented ensemble of artists is reuniting to celebrate the importance of in-school theater arts education and to raise funds for the arts enrichment programs presented by the Broadway Education Alliance.
The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance was started in 2011 by the Broadway Education Alliance to recognize outstanding achievement in high school arts programs throughout the greater New York City area. The program presents numerous award and recognition categories aimed at providing aspiring artists with real-world experience and enrichment opportunities, as well as recognize the dedication of both students and educators. It serves as NYC’s regional area program for the Broadway League Foundation’s Jimmy Awards®.
The Broadway Education Alliance (BEA), a New York-based 501.c3 not-for-profit, is dedicated to giving kids access to information, people, and experiences that will help inform and inspire them in their formative years. BEA presents a portfolio of education focused youth programs including: The Roger Rees Awards, Camp Broadway®, Camp Broadway® Ensemble, and others.
