The 38th Annual John Lennon Tribute

Theatre Within in association with Music Without Borders, presents The 38th Annual John Lennon Tribute. A New York City tradition since 1981, the Tribute joyously celebrates John Lennon’s life, music, and timeless message of peace and love.

This year's Tribute honors Rosanne Cash, who will receive the 2018 "John Lennon Real Love Award” in recognition of her extraordinary artistic achievements and life-long commitment to social activism. Ms. Cash will play a set of her favorite John Lennon and Beatles songs.

The stellar line-up features Grammy Award-winner Marc Cohn, sixties icon Jesse Colin Young (The Youngbloods), veteran rocker Willie Nile, plus the dynamic female band BETTY, beloved folkies Pete & Maura Kennedy, guitar master Scott Sharrad (Gregg Allman Band) and Music Director, Rich Pagano (Fab Faux).

This year's Tribute will celebrate "Lennon '68" and feature John Lennon classics from The White Album, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of its release.

All proceeds benefit Theatre Within’s ongoing free workshops in creative expression and mindfulness at Gilda’s Club, NYC for children who have lost a parent to cancer and adult cancer survivors. For more details, visit http://www.lennontribute.org/.
