The New York Times best-selling author of Wonder makes her graphic novel debut with White Bird, an unforgettable tale of kindness and courage. White Bird follows a young Jewish girl hidden in the midst of Nazi-occupied France, in this captivating tale brought to life by Palacio’s gorgeous illustrations. Actress Debra Monk (New Amsterdam), along with five Thalia Kids' Book Club campers, will perform an excerpt from the book.

Signing Guidelines:

• Attendees must purchase at least one copy of White Bird or another title to enter the signing line.

• No more than two books from home can be autographed

• Photos are allowed, but there will be no posed photos

The Thalia Kids' Book Club offers lively discussions between children's book authors and their fans. Each event includes a creative writing project, a reading, a discussion with the audience, and a book-signing.
