Enjoy this slapstick salute to the comedic stars of the silent film era, many of whom have been forgotten in the passage of time and because of the scarcity of their surviving movies. Headlining this joyful rediscovery of silent film and live music are comedienne Louise Fazenda in her 1924 short Dizzy Daisy, Douglas MacLean in the feature Bell Boy 13 (1923), and Max Davidson’s two-reel classic Pass the Gravy (1928).
