Spring has sprung, which means baseball is back and gardeners everywhere are coaxing their seedlings to sprout. WNYC's Peabody Award–winning radio host Brian Lehrer takes a break from the pressing issues of the day to host a verdant evening of Selected Shorts dedicated to mystery gardens, the triumphs and heartbreaks of baseball, and love in bloom. Featuring stories by Dave Eggers, Hilary Leichter, Steven Millhauser, and Eloy Tizón, performed by Julie Benko (Funny Girl), Brandon J. Dirden (The Americans), Raúl Esparza (Law & Order: SVU), and Jay O. Sanders (His Three Daughters).
