Selected Shorts at Japan Society
In honor of fiction writer Mieko Kawakami’s visit to NYC, Selected Shorts partners with Japan Society for an evening featuring Kawakami’s groundbreaking work alongside that of her extraordinary, eclectic peers, including Han Kang and more. Performed live by acclaimed actors, these stories by contemporary East Asian women writers will surprise, delight, and linger in the mind long after the show is over.
