One of Japan's foremost modern fiction writers, Haruki Murakami, is known for his surreal, unforgettable journeys through the human psyche. In celebration of the acclaimed author of The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle receiving the Japan Society Annual Award, Selected Shorts presents an evening of his stories live on stage. Featuring oddball characters, dreamlike twists, and deeply human dilemmas, this event will satisfy Murakami newcomers as well as those who know every jazz reference and talking cat. Host Mike Doyle (New Amsterdam)will be joined on stage by actors Jennifer Ikeda (Blue Bloods)and Javier Muñoz (Hamilton).
