Queer pop musician, filmmaker, and storyteller Be Steadwell composes her songs on stage using looping, vocal layering, and beat boxing. With a breathtaking voice and a poet’s heart, Steadwell’s unique style brings the audience on a fresh and exciting journey through affirming queer music. In addition to Be's solo work, recent collaborators include Toshi Reagon and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
