Tatiana Eva-Marie and the Avalon Jazz Band is the ambassador of Parisian hot jazz in the United States and internationally. Their music is inspired by the Parisian jazz scene of the 1930s and 40s, whose emblematic sound was made popular by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. They perform American standards popular in France during that period, songs of French composers influenced by jazz, and original music, blending their francophone culture into their American experience.
