Description

Jonas Åkerlund, 2024, Norway, 60m

Nagelhus Schia Productions presents DuEls, a dance film performed and produced by the company, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, with choreography by Damien Jalet and Erna Ómarsdóttir. Set inside Oslo’s Vigeland Museum, the film moves through the museum as a living stage, where the dancers channel and release the charged energy of Gustav Vigeland’s monumental sculptures. Structured as a series of intense, cinematic duets, DuEls transforms space, body, and art history into a raw exploration of power, tension, and physical communion.
