From her landmark debut, The Country Girls, through sixty years of novels, short stories, poetry, plays, biographies, and memoir, Edna O’Brien has stirred imaginations across generations. The legendary author sits down with Richard Ford to look back on her immense contribution to literature. A host of authors and actors, including Gina Apostol (Insurrecto), Maeve Higgins (Maeve in America), Aedín Moloney (Yes! Reflections of Molly Bloom), and more pay tribute and read selections from some of her most celebrated works. O’Brien’s 20th novel, Girl, will be released in October.
