overview

In the last program of the season the Glass Farm Ensemble begins with Klaus Huber's Schattenblätter (Shadow leaves) for bass clarinet and piano.

In Rico Gubler's Trio IR the composition revolves around an alpine blessing from a mountain region in Switzerland. At the end of the piece, the violist sings the alpine blessing while playing the viola.

Denis Schuler's 1444 is an unbelievably touching meditation on a painting from 1444.

At the end of the evening, we play two masterpieces of the 20th century chamber music literature: Savatore Sciarrino's Sonatina for violin and piano and the Adagio by Ablan Berg in Berg's version for clarinet, violin and piano.
