The film was conceived, directed, produced, and narrated by actress Lucia Verissimo, daughter of the maestro Severino Filho, founding member of the influential vocal group Os Cariocas. With historical photographs, film clips, more than 100 songs, and interviews with Brazilian music legends, Me, My Father and the Cariocas celebrates the exuberant Brazilian music scene. It's a must see for any music lover.
