overview

Roxane Gay (Bad Feminist), Kirstin Valdez Quade (Night at the Fiestas), Rickey Laurentiis (Boy with Thorn) and collection editor John Freeman (Freeman's) come together for an evening of discussion. With readings by Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street), Amber Tamblyn (Two and a Half Men; Dark Sparkler). Tales of Two Americas showcases the literary world's response to inequality with stories and essays on immigration, racial injustice, gender, and greed in America today.

At the Thalia Book Club, readers and writers meet for intimate conversations about compelling new books and favorite classics in fiction, essay, biography and more. Evenings include an actor performing an excerpt, an interview and a conversation with the audience, plus book signings.
