20>>21 is an ensemble of accomplished musicians who are passionate for sharing new music with new audiences. 20>>21 collaborates with today's emerging composers to curate deep concert experiences. The ensemble facilitates dialogue between audience, performer, and composer by presenting contemporary composers' works in a context of their own interests and influences. 20>>21 embraces a relaxed concert atmosphere, inviting audience members to learn and interact. 20>>21 had a successful inaugural season of 2011-12 at the Gershwin Hotel in downtown Manhattan. Each concert included a world premiere performance of a commissioned work by the featured composer, including Angélica Negrón, Gilad Cohen, Clint Needham, and Aleksandra Vrebalov.

The American Composers Alliance annual concert series began in 2000, as a showcase to introduce new works by ACA composers. With support from Symphony Space, the concert series has evolved into a collaboration between composers and performers that goes beyond ACA, and features top-level performances. Since 2004, ACA has presented new works by more than 100 American composers, and more than 35 works by young composers, with support from the Alice M. Ditson Fund, the Argosy Foundation's Contemporary Music Fund, the Cary New Music Performance Fund, the Aaron Copland Fund for Music, the Puffin Foundation, BMI, and many generous individuals.

In 2012, ACA celebrated its 75th anniversary with a gala concert of works from the ACA catalog, performed by the Orchestra of the League of Composers, with soloists including cellist Fred Sherry and pianist Orion Weiss.

Music from the ACA catalog is licensed for performance by Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). Printed sheet music is available from www.composers.com

ACA is thrilled to be collaborating with the amazing ensemble 20>>21 for this year's Composers Now! festival.
