New York Chamber Music Festival presents the New York Recital Debut of the Italian Duo Bellarosa-Vergini (saxophone-piano), winners of the 2012 Salieri-Zinetti international competition in Verona, Italy. Duo Bellarosa-Vergini possesses a rare combination of fabulous virtuosity and phenomenal artistry. The collaboration between the saxophonist Guerino Bellarosa and the pianist Marco Vergini is based on a shared deep interest in 20th C. music, as well as contemporary works. The ensemble combines outstanding interpretations of original chamber repertoire with special attention to the innovative harmonic tonal nuances.
