On September 5, 2012 - the 100th birthday of John Cage, New York Chamber Music Festival presents a collection of John Cage gems: Living Room Music; Four for String Quartet; Third Construction; 59 1/2; Sonata for Two Voices; Branches; The City Wears a Slouch Hat with the participation of members of the MET Opera percussion section, led by Greg Zuber (MET Principal Percussionist), and conducted by world-renowned MET Opera Maestro Derrick Inouye, violinists Elmira Darvarova and Cornelius Dufallo, violist Ching Chen Juhl, cellist Wendy Sutter. Also participating: MET Opera star bass-baritone Morris Robinson and New York City Opera soprano Karen Beardsley Peters.
