The super-sharp and funny author of White Teeth and On Beauty explores her new novel set in northwest London, the corner of the city where Zadie Smith grew up and lives part-time now. Taking inspiration from Virigina Woolf, Smith's surprising story focuses on four people who grew up in the neighborhood, left and are reunited 30 years later. In conversation with Hari Kunzru (Gods Without Men). An excerpt from NW will be performed by Kaneza Schaal.
