Whether it's the first time you've heard it or the fiftieth, there's always more to the story! At American Symphony Orchestra's hit series Classics Declassified, Conductor Leon Botstein and the orchestra give you an entertaining and in-depth look at the creation of well-known works, then after a performance, answer your questions in a Q&A.

From a vision of the Holy Grail to the longing for and redemption of love, Leon Botstein and the orchestra examine the themes behind some of Wagner's most famous operatic works, in celebration of his 200th birthday. Get the background story, then enjoy the Act I & III Preludes from Lohengrin, and the Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde.
