Greg Zuber, principal percussionist of the famed Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and his wife MET flutist Pat Zuber have assembled a stellar cast of collaborating colleagues for the world premiere of William Susman's "Seven Scenes for Four Flutes" that they recently commissioned, including Denis Bouriakov (principal flutist of the MET) and Maron Khoury, also a MET flutist. Conducted by MET Opera maestro Derrick Inouye, this exciting program also presents works by Elliot Carter, Milton Babbitt and the Japanese composer Teruyuki Noda. Among the distinguished performers are also MET double bassist Daniel Krekeler, clarinetist Lino Gomez and flutist Bart Feller. Don't miss this unique program and the fantastic opportunity to hear MET Orchestra musicians in a chamber music setting!
